The acting Governor of Delta state Prince Sam Obi has called on Christians to see thanksgiving as a divine spiritual duty which they should always perform to enable them prosper in life.

Prince Obi who made the call while speaking as guest of honour at the New life family Church harvest in Asaba said when Christians give enormously in thanksgiving God would embarrass them with blessings.

He said thanksgiving should also be seen by Christians as a grateful acknowledgement of Gods benevolence to mankind especially for life and manís achievements in the world.

Dr Obidi said mankind owes so much to God and should continue on a daily basis to praise and give him thanks.

He used the occasion to appeal to Deltans to support the acting governor to enable him carry out his constitutional responsibility and leave his footprints on the sands of history.

The acting governor who was also at St Peter Anglican church Asaba for harvest bazaar used the occasion to tell Deltans that he was on transit from the Legislature and promised to do the little he can within the period.
