Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State has said that the relationship between him and President Good-luck Jonathan is excellent.

The governor also said that Peoples Democratic Party in the state had a cordial working relationship with the national office of the party adding "we will continue to support them in Abuja".

Uduaghan, who was addressing a stakeholders meeting of the party in Asaba at the weekend, faulted propagandists, who painted a scenario that he was falling apart with President Jonathan and that there was bad blood between them.

"There are lots of stories planted in the newspapers and when I read them I laugh".

"I am a governor from Niger Delta region, it is better for me to relate with the President from Niger Delta than one who is not from there".

"Why would I like to make life difficult for my self as governor".

"Unfortunately those carrying the propaganda are not doing it in the interest of Mr. President".
