Uduaghan Promises to Partner Associations for Growth.

Delta State Governor Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has promised to partner with visionary and forward looking associations to accelerate economic growth in the State.

Dr. Uduaghan who made the promise when the Executive of Warri South Professional Drivers Association paid him a courtesy call in Asaba said the door is open to any association who has meaningful contributions to make towards the growth of infrastructure in the state.

He invited professional associations to use their expertise in improving the life of Deltans and promised to complete work on all road projects going on in the state so that the transport industry will thrive.

The Governor who was represented at the occasion by the Chief of Staff Government House Asaba Hon. Solomon Areyenka said he embarked on massive road construction to reduce stress in the transport industry and make it lucrative.

Dr. Uduaghan promised to continue to flood the sector with new and air conditioned vehicles not only for drivers to drive with comfort but for commuters to travel in comfort.

He however urged professional drivers not to operate in unapproved parks but should consistently use parks that are approved.

In his brief remarks the special adviser to the Governor on mass mobilization and inter party affairs Mr. Solomon Edoja asked all those druming support for Uduaghan to register and have the voters card.

Hon. Edoja described the voter’s card as a powerful weapon for choosing a candidate even as he claimed that they were powerless with out it.

He disclosed that the state Government will soon establish a driving School to enable drivers acquire knowledge and sharpen their skill.

The Chairman of Warri South Professional Drivers Association Mr. Johnson Itedjere in his remarks pledged the solidarity and support of the association to the second term bid of Governor Uduaghan.

Mr. Itedjere promised to mobilize members of the association to support the state Governor in the 2011 election.

He however requested the state Government to distribute more buses to the association to enable it contribute meaningful to the economic growth of the state.
