Accord Party, Oshimili North Passes Vote of Confidence on Uduaghan.
The Oshimili North local government chapter of the Accord Party in appreciation of the various infrastructural development of the present administration in the State has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan.
Speaking at a gathering of party executives and members held at Ward Five Ibusa to usher in a new member, Chief Tony Akaeze Ijeh, the Director general of the Party, Comrade David Ashikodi, said there was need for all to show appreciation and support to the State governor adding that his administration has extended dividends of democracy to all nooks and crannies of the State.
Comrade Ashikodi remarked that the Accord Party believed strongly in the policies of the PDP and would always support its cause.
He cited the numerous projects going on in Oshimili North and Ibusa in particular to include the rehabilitation of the Umejei road, the Ezukwu-Achalla to Asaba link road the Ugbolu /Akwukwu-Igbo road and the recent appointment by the governor into political offices, of indigenes of the area including members of the accord party.
The Director General paid glowing tributes to the member representing the area in the State House of Assembly, Honourable Pat Ajudua for her effective representation which includes being the facilitator of the on-going projects in the area and the recent construction of Examination halls at the St. Thomas and Saint. Augustine Colleges both in Ibusa as well as Akwukwu-Igbo and Illah grammar schools, among others.
The new entrant to the party Chief Tony Akaeze Ijeh said he decided to join the party which he had been able to nurture while in London in order to contribute to the overall development of the area as well as support the Uduaghan administration.
The Local Government Area Chairman of the Party Chief Chris Oligbo while administering the oath of office on Chief Ijeh enjoined him to remain steadfast and work in accordance with the Party's constitution.
