The Oshimili North local government executive of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, has passed a vote of confidence on the State governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan for executing projects which have transformed the lives of people in the area.

This was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of a general meeting held at Ibusa and signed by the Oshimili North party chairman, Chief chiejine Okafor, the party secretary, Mr. Sunday Iwelu, the youth leaders Mr. Zik Emina and Mrs. Rose Idoko.

The party executive highlighted the renovation of the seven kilometer Umejei road at Ibusa the construction of Hezue road at Akwukwu Igbo and the Airport project as some landmark achievements of the present administration. They commended the Governor for the speed at which the projects are being executed describing it as a positive commitment to the people of the area.

The party executive also commended the qualitative leadership style of the State PDP chairman, Barrister Peter Nwaoboshi which has attracted more projects to the area. They commended the efforts of the chairman, Oshimili North Local Government, Barrister Ben Okonkwo for impacting positively on majority of the people in the area within six months in office.

The PDP executive noted that Barrister Okonkwo has embarked on the modernization of the Eke market, Installation of street lights at Ebu and the introduction of MicroCredit scheme to people of the area. The party executive and members pledged their unalloyed support to the governor, the State party chairman and the chairman of Oshimili north local government area.
