DTSG restates commitment to e-Government
The State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan has reaffirmed the State Government's interest in ensuring that the State is Information Technology compliant.
The Governor stated this at the inauguration of the executive members of the Asaba Chapter of the Nigeria Computer Society.
Dr Uduaghan who was represented by the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Dr Ronald Eyime said equipping Delta Technologically is an issue that should not be ignored. He urged the executive to work hard as a team as the State government would do all it could to assist the body.
The Governor congratulated the inaugurated members urging them to support government initiatives The National President, Professor Charles Uwadia, represented by Dr David Adewumi expressed gratitude to the State Government for carrying the members along in the scheme of things.
Earlier, the Chapter Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Okonta commended the State Government on its level of Information Technology and Infrastructural Development and cited project e-Delta as a reference.
