Doctors Laud Delta on Teaching Hospital.
DELTA Doctors in Diaspora, DDD, has described the newly inaugurated Delta State University Teaching Hospital, and the Nigerian Navy Logistics Command Headquarters, Oghara, as enduring legacies of democracy that will boost the security and health needs of the people of Delta State and the entire Niger Delta region.
President of DDD, Dr. Isioma Okobah, said Delta State University Teaching Hospital is the first of its kind in the Sub-Saharan, adding that the hospital has been equipped with state-of-the art equipment of international standard.
Dr. Okobah, spoke in Asaba on the significance of the projects and the visit of President Goodluck Jonathan to Delta State. She congratulated the Delta State government for the successful completion of the two projects. She insisted that the projects were of remarkable significance to the socio-economic transformation of the Niger Delta region in line with the developmental vision of Federal Government.
Dr. Okobah also observed that the visit was a clear testimony of the excellent relationship between the presidency and the state government. She enjoined Deltans to continue to support the policies and programmes of the state government for the greater good of all.
