Mozea Urges Councillors to Key into State Govts 3 Point Agenda.
Supervisory Councillors in the State have been charged to work in line with the three point agenda of Governor Uduaghan in order to achieve rapid at the grassroots level.
The Commissioner, Directorate of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Pat Mozea gave the charge while declaring open a three day workshop organized by the Directorate in collaboration with Dosama International Limited in Asaba.
Chief Mozea said the workshop was to ensure that participants acquire the needed knowledge and skills to discharge their duties effectively.
The Commissioner disclosed that the success of a local government, measured by its impact on the grassroots and called on the participant to avoid acts capable of breaching the peace in their areas.
While advising aggrieved councilors not to take laws into their hands, Chief Mozea assured them that the Directorate is fully committed to its role in that the interest of the third tier of government was protected.
The Commissioner called on them to come out enmasse to support Governor Uduaghan in the forthcoming elections as he was out to give Deltans human capital and people oriented development.
The Chief Executive Officer of Dosania International limited, Sir Donatus Igboin said that the workshop would enlighten the participants on how they would actualize their goals.
