The people of Abari in Patani Local Government Area have been urged to support always the government of Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan in order to attract more democratic dividends to them.

This charge was given by the State Commissioner for Lands, Surveys and Urban Development, Barrister Raymos Guanah during his monthly political meeting with the members of Ward I in Abari, Patani Local Government Area.

Barrister Guanah said with the provision of electricity, pipe-borne water and the re-opening of the only secondary school in the area, the people of Abari have many reasons to thank God and the present administration for.

While commending the Government for posting more teachers to the only secondary school in the town, he urged the students to be serious with their studies.

The Lands and Surveys Commissioner however called on the State Government to call the contractor handling the Abari-Patani road to finish up the road construction during this dry season.

The monthly PDP ward I meeting was equally used for the registering of the new Party members and some decampees to the PDP.

Highlight of the meeting was the passing of the vote of confidence on Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan for his performance and for his re-election by Hon. Edmund Guanah, a Councillor in Patani-Local Government Area which was unanimously adopted by the large Party members present.

Speaking earlier, the Ward I Chairman, Hon. Kennedy Otogie, called for oneness and closer unity among politicians in the area. Hon. Otogie urged those that have not registered for the Party to do so as registration is free.
