Prominent Deltans have been commending the on-going removal of illegal structures by the State Task Force on illegal structures in the Urban Areas of the State.

Among them is the former member of the Delta State House of Assembly Representing Ika North East, Honourable Frank Nwaebo who commended the Task Force for a job well done, stressing that the demolition exercise will bring sanity to the capital city of Asaba.

On his part, the Odogwu of Okpanam, Chief P.A Dunkwu enjoined all to obey the laws of the State by following the approved development plan highlighting that "Delta is a State for civilized human beings and not an Animal Farm".

Also commending the exercise, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Land Security, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori, urged the Task Force to also descend on all persons that encroached on public school premises.
