Beneku Commend Uduaghan for Development in the State.
The people of Beneku in Ndokwa East Council Area have commended the State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan for his progrramme of development in the State.
The commendation was contained in a message of appreciation to Governor Uduaghan and his Special Adviser on Security, Chief Gabriel Njokede on the restoration of Ferry Services to the community.
The message signed by the Chairman Beneku Development Committee, Mr. Anthony Okwuegu and the Secretary Okpala-Uku in Council, Mr. Godwin Orurubolu expressed the joy of the community that after six years of inactivity the Ferry has resumed the crossing of goods and services to and from Beneku community.
The statement appealed to the State Government to prevail on the Oil Company operating in the area, DESOPADEC and NDDC to actualize the dream of the community for a bridge across the Beneku and Kwale ramp. According to the statement, the bridge will be necessary to link close to ten communities in the area.
The statement expressed the support of Beneku people to the three point agenda of Governor Uduaghan.
