The Executive Chairman of the Delta State Rural Development Agency, Elder Dr. Sam Efetobor (JP) has given an assurance that the State Government will give high priority to the provision of electricity supply to rural communities in the state.

Elder Efetobor gave this assurance while distributing electrical materials to representatives of some communities in the state. He said the Uduaghan's administration will accord high premium to the provision of electricity supply to rural areas because of its multiplier effect of opening up the areas for businesses and industrialization.

While urging the benefiting communities to protect the material and other installations of government in their communities from vandalisation.

Dr. Efetobor said more communities would benefit from the Agency's effort to provide electricity materials to boost electricity supply to rural communities across the state.

Among the benefiting communities were Erho - Abraka in Ethiope East L.G.A., Ogodo in Aniocha North L.G.A., Ukala-Okpunor in Oshimili North, Agbor in lka South and Ovwian in Udu Local Government Area.
