The wife of the State Governor and Chairperson I Care project, Mrs. Roli Uduaghan has called on members of the international community to partner with the State Government in harnessing the potentials of youths across the State.

Mrs. Uduaghan made the call during a send forth party organized by the State Sports Commission for the Visa Consul of the French Embassy, Mr. Francis Dupuis in Lagos. She said investors could tap into the three-point agenda of the present administration for the success of their businesses, adding that French has played a pivotal role in the development of talents in the State.

The Governor's wife identified sports as a major source of investment and charged other Embassies in the country to emulate the French Consulate by providing an enabling environment and opportunity for people to develop their talents.

A former secretary to the government of the Federation, Mr. Alison Ayida commended Delta State for recording tremendous achievements in sports through well-packaged and properly implemented policies.

On his part, the Chairman Delta State Sports Commission, Mr. Amaju Pinnick, said France has always played a leading role in the development of sports in the State. He commended the out-going visa Consul for co-operating with the State by giving visas to forty football players who traveled to France on training and urged his successor to do same.

Responding, Mr. Dupuis thanked the State Government for the honour done him and called for closer ties between both countries.
