The Deputy National Chairman of PDP Dr. Bello Mohammed has commended Delta State governor Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan for accelerating the development of infrastructure in the state.

Dr. Mohammed who made the commendation after inspecting projects in Asaba said he was amazed at the speed development was spreading in Asaba. He explained that when he visited Asaba two years ago the city was metamorphosing adding that the town has now grown into a cosmopolitan place.

The PDP Chieftain praised the development consciousness of Governor Uduaghan for embarking on the airport and other projects and said the airport has the potential of boosting economic activities in Asaba.

His words "Asaba has changed tremendously. Uduaghan is doing very well. I was here two years ago and the town was not like this".

Dr. Bello said Delta State was now a model and should be emulated especially by other states in the provision of dividends of democracy to the people.

Emphasizing further he said "The Uduaghan administration is providing dividends of democracy to the people. Indeed Asaba is a show piece and other states in the Federation should now emulate Delta state in the provision of dividends of democracy".

Answering questions from journalists after the inspection, the PDP National women leader Hajia Inna Ciroma commended the vision of Governor Uduaghan in embarking on people oriented projects.

Hajia Ciroma said the projects would improve the well being of the people and urged women in the state to support the Uduaghan administration. The PDP Deputy National Chairman was accompanied on the visit by the National publicity Secretary Prof. Rufia Akali and other party Chieftains
