A total of 120 secondary schools in Delta State were yesterday presented with one desktop computer each, under the state’s computer literacy and appreciation programme, designed to bring the world of Information and Communication Technology, closer to secondary school students.

Teachers serving in the rural areas of Delta State now enjoy special incentives The state governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan who disclosed this when the President of NLC, Comrade Abdul Waheed Umar led the National Executive of Nigerian Union of Teachers to pay him a courtesy call in Asaba, adding that the incentive was designed to encourage teachers to lay solid foundation of academic excellence in the rural areas.
