Government to Build Bridge in Ayakoromor

The Delta State government has begun moves to construct an access bridge for Ayakoromor and other riverine communities in Burutu Local Government Area in order to ease access from the area to other parts of the State.

Asaba International Airport for Test Run Soon.

The acting governor of Delta state, Prince Sam Obi has announced that a test run programme for the Asaba International Airport will start soon.
Prince Obi who announced this while inspecting the airport explained that the designed programme would ensure that an aircraft bearing the former governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, the Speaker Barr. Basil Ganagana and himself would fly from the airport to Abuja.

Delta State Government has commenced the evacuation of its indigenes caught in the religious crisis in Jos, Plateau State, back home in order to ensure that no Deltan is left stranded in the conflict areas. Already, the first batch of those evacuated has arrived Asaba, the state capital.
